You need to get rid of those horrible factory log-manifolds with their integral UTC (Ultra Thin Catalysts). Only 2bular supply stepped 48mm 3-1 manifolds with hand-fabricated merge collectors + 57mm diameter downpipes. ONLY 2BULAR.
YOU SEE THAT THE MANIFOLDS/DOWNPIPES AND DOWNPIPE TO CATALYSER JOINTS ARE BOLTED FLANGES WITH GASKETS SUPPLIED. THE EXHAUST MUST BE FULLY SEALED/GAS-TIGHT BEFORE THE CATALYSER.
GIVEN THE EXCESSIVE ENGINE/TRANSMISSION MOVEMENT ON THESE CARS, USING SLIP-ON JOINTS WITH HOSE CLAMPS IS NOT A WISE MOVE. LIKEWISE SLIP-JOINS AND SPRINGS - IGNORANT.
AND ANOTHER THING; YOU NEVER WELD A BRACKET ON THE EXHAUST IMMEDIATELY AFTER A FLEXY SECTION. INSTEAD OF FLEXING, IT IS FORCED TO BEND - AND THEN IT WILL SPLIT.
If you need a catalyser (and most countries require one) you need the big 130mm diameter HJS HD 200cell design. 70mm pipework from the 2bular downpipes I CAN USE A 76MM EXIT PIPE ON THE CATALYSER TO SLIP-FIT TO THE FACTORY EXHAUST IF REQUIRED OR THE 2BULAR 70MM V-BAND TO THE 2BULAR SILENCER. ONLY 2BULAR offers this quality.
The 2bular EPK is supplied with all gaskets/fitting kits and the extended Lambda wiring kit for re-located Lambda sensors.
