I NOW USE A 121MM DIAMETER EURO 6 SPEC  HJS HD (HIGH DURABILITY) DIRECTIONAL 200CELL CATALYSER FOR THIS INSTALL. WITH 5 TIMES THE WEIGHT IN COATINGS OF THE RARE METALS REQUIRED FOR THE CATALYSING PROCESS COMPARED TO THE CHEAPER AFTERMARKET OFFERINGS,  IT EASILY MEETS ANY EMISSIONS TESTS, YET STILL IMPROVES GAS-FLOW AND PERFORMANCE.

NO 'CHECK ENGINE LIGHT' ISSUES!

I use a pressed stainless gasket cup at the factory manifold flange, with a stainless reducer to guide the gas down to the correct bore downpipe - 63.5mm (2.5") diameter. 

Other designs I see use a 70mm (or 76mm!) pipe because you can form the gasket cup from that size and just leave the flange loose(!) so no need for any TIG-welding or reducer. Lazy, lazy, cheap people. I use a 70mm diameter pipe on the 350bhp supercharged V6 - NOT on a 1.8Ltr, 4-cylinder motor! 

This 2bular catalyser is a straight swap for the factory part and will fit to 2bular and most other aftermarket 2ZZ -GE exhaust systems. If in any doubt - ask me for guidance!
