This motor has an MP45 supercharger increasing the power and torque. Later Exige 2ZZ-GE supercharged motors used the larger MP62 supercharger. The potential for increasing performance is somewhat limited with that smaller SC and the exhaust system, particularly the restrictive manifold, should be swapped out. Most aftermarket exhaust suppliers offer the same 4-1 manifold for BOTH MP45 and MP62 SC's. Useless. Probably the same pipe for the big TVS1320.

Only 2bular offer different manifolds and systems for the different SC's; MP45, MP62 and the TVS1320(!) - all requiring specific diameters on their 4-1 manifolds to help achieve best power and torque.

An all-stainless construction with stepped primary pipes (important to maintain good torque at lower revs) feeding a proper 4-1 merge collector (not pressed-tin crap). All TIG-welded to perfection. A quality product.

Supplied with a new gasket between the cylinder head and manifold join and a donut gasket at the test-pipe/catalyser join. I use sprung M10 stainless bolts to mirror the factory flexible design there - not useless little springs which do not maintain a seal and which break all too easily. You know who I'm talking about.

You can use the manifold with the 2bular test-pipe (noisy!), the 2bular SDCP or buy the popular 45mm 4-1 manifold & HJS HD catalyser combo (if you need a catalyser!).
