The 2GR-FE V6 motor is supplied to Lotus with Ultra Thin-Wall Ceramic catalysers (UTC's) fitted in the exhaust manifolds. Lotus have to use the engine as it comes from Toyota so they're stuck with these fragile ceramic parts inches from the cylinder head exhaust ports. Any Ferrari 430 owner will tell you of the dangers inherent in that scenario. I have many reports of the failure of the rear catalyser on Lotus V6 installs (less cooling to that side of the engine).
Supercharged motors, with their increased exhaust-gas pressures can wreck ceramic catalysers and I wonder how long these UTC "pre-cats" will tolerate the stresses placed on them - particularly during track-use. I'm pretty certain Lotus are well aware of these issues as the power output of a 3.5Ltr supercharged V6 should be a lot more than 345bhp (flywheel)!

It replaces the factory manifolds with the unique, stepped 2bular 3-1 design and bigger-bore 57mm diameter downpipes plus the 130mm diameter 200cell HJS HD Catalyser. The exhaust sound with these parts fitted is just incredible - an amazing scream which internet videos don't quite capture.

I CAN BUILD THE EXIT PIPE ON THE CATALYSER TO FIT TO THE 2.5" (63.5mm) FACTORY EXHAUST SYSTEM OR ANY AFTER-MARKET SYSTEM YOU MAY HAVE FITTED ALREADY.
THE KIT IS FULLY SEALED (LIKE THE FACTORY DESIGN) WITH BOLTED FLANGES. NOT SLIP-JOINS WITH HOSE CLAMPS - THESE ARE NOT GAS-TIGHT AND LEAKAGES CAN DAMAGE YOUR CATALYSER OR GENERATE CEL's.
ALL GASKETS/FITTING KITS AND WIRING EXTENSIONS FOR THE RE-LOCATED LAMBDA SENSORS ARE INCLUDED.
