Trackdays are a great opportunity to enjoy your car's full potential - but UK tracks are now the most noise-averse in the World. These add-on silencers slip-on to the tailpipes of your 2bular V6 exhaust. Easily changeable trackside. They have the same bore as the tailpipes so no back-pressure is introduced - no loss of performance. I have seen some extremely dodgy designs which WILL damage your engine with the back-pressure they cause. 

I build these add-ons to the same quality as the rest of the 2bular range. I use lightweight 0.8mm polished stainless silencer skins and expensive Acoustafil ZT-1 packing material. TIG-welded for integrity and cosmetics. I have long experience of designing/building Superbike silencers and incorporate the same features inside these add-ons. Feedback says they work very well and are extremely reliable.

It is VERY important to point the sound energy down towards the tarmac! You keep them in this position for the static noise-test. Each silencer can be rotated on its tailpipe to point away from the microphone nearest the edge of the track. For instance, at Brands,  BOTH add-ons are rotated to point infield/pit-side, away from the mic on the outside of Clearways. At Bedford, one add-on to the left/one add-on to the right! Distance reduces decibels. Although Bedford has a nominal decibel limit of 87.5dbs on the drive-by and Brands has a 92dbs limit - Brands with the Clearways mic extremely close to the track is the toughest circuit noise-wise. The latest add-on designs have extended tips to push the sound closer to the tarmac.

These silencers are strictly for track use and are not road-legal.
